Our founder, AJ Winslow, was stoked when his father-in-law pulled the lottery for the Masters golf tournament this year. And he wasn't alone. The Masters is THE event for golf fanatics, and everyone wants to be there.
They hit up Augusta a few days early to get some rounds of their own in. Their Airbnb host, Clara Mar, was the epitome of southern hospitality, hooking them up with tips on the best shortcuts to the tournament and whipping up some killer cookies and muffins.
The atmosphere at the Masters was absolutely electric. How could it not be, it’s the Masters. The crew cruised the course and were blown away by the beauty of the Augusta National Golf Club. The greens were minty fresh, and the azaleas were popping.
They spent the day stalking the likes of Tiger, Rory, and Freddy Couples - legends in their own right. And let's not forget the grub and suds - the famous pimento cheese sandwiches and $5 beers kept the energy high all day long.
By the end of the day, AJ and the squad were wiped but on cloud nine. They saw some of the best golf around and made memories that would last a lifetime. Going to the Masters with the fam was straight-up magical.
In short, attending the Masters is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for any golf head. The vibe, the golf, and the memories these boys made will stay with them forever.
